Squirrels
Sciurus carolinensis

Repairing squirrel entry points after removal of resident squirrels.
These familiar tree dwellers are loved by some and hated by others. In areas where gray squirrel populations are large, these rodents can be formidable pests. Squirrels are intelligent and agile and can quickly learn to adapt to changing circumstances.
In addition to raiding and destroying bird feeders, squirrels will enter chimneys and chew into attics to nest and raise young. They will have two litters of young per year, and females searching for nest sites frequently enter homes.
Squirrels feed on nuts, berries, leaves and seeds. They will also chew siding and certain painted surfaces for the salts and minerals they contains.
TS Wildlife Control has helped thousands of homeowners rid their attics of squirrels. Whenever young are found we will take them to a licensed rehabber to be raised and released.
It is imperative that squirrels residing in the attic be removed, they can cause severe damage to wood, insulation and drywall. They also present a serious fire hazard as they will chew electrical wires and bring in paper and dry leaves to nest in, which may ignite a fire.
