Snakes
Black rat snakes are harmless, and sometimes find their way into homes.

Ringneck snakes are also harmless.
TS Wildlife Control is owned and operated by a herpetologist. A herpetologist is a professional who studies and works with reptiles and amphibians.

are venomous and should not be handled.
Adult black rat snakes (below) have no pattern.

The vast majority of snakes in Maryland are non-venomous and totally harmless to humans. The most common type of snake found in basements or attics are black rat snakes. It is not always easy to locate snakes or their entry points into your home. TS Wildlife Control are experts in snake removal and sealing potential entry points to prevent future occurences. Although venomous snakes are rarely found around homes, we are fully capable of their safe removal and relocation. when you find a snake in your home keep an eye on it and call TS Wildlife Control. DO NOT attempt to capture the snake with your hands, as even non-venomous snakes will bite when they are grabbed.
Snakes outdoors pose no threat to people if they are left alone and they are beneficial predators of rats and mice. All snakes are non-game wildlife and cannot be molester or killed under Maryland law.
